3D vision sensor / for object detection

The 3D visual sensor is used for the visual assessment of level, volume or distance. It is a wide-angle version with a 64° x 48° aperture angle. The operating principle is the measurement of the time of flight based on pmd technology. It provides illumination, evaluation and time-of-flight measurement in a single device. It provides a detailed assessment of the application with 3,072 distance values per measurement.
It has 4-20 mA/0-10 V analog output or 2 switching outputs to provide the result. This sensor is equipped with efector PMD 3D which is the first industrial type 3D sensor that is able to detect objects at a glance in three dimensions. The time-of-flight evaluation and measurement is integrated in a single chip that has 64 x 48 pixels.
