Vision sensor

The Vision Sensor from Hexagon Metrology is designed to measure the image processing for Optiv measuring machines. The measurements are performed without any contact with even the smallest features of the subject, thereby eliminating the risk of mechanical damage of the subject parts caused by mechanical probes.

The subject to be measured is captured by the high resolution CCD camera and the captured optical signals are translated into a perfect and low-noise digital image. This image is subjected to fine processing for the coordinate calculation. The image-processing facility within the PC-DMIS Vision allows for the modification of the RGB sensitivity of the color camera.
