Metal connector hood

FCT electronic introduced the full metal hood FMD2 for 15 pin D-Sub connectors particularly suitable for the requirements in automation but also for the requirements in many other sections already in 2012. Now, this series was enriched by the full metal hood FMD1 for 9 pin D-Sub connectors.

Highly innovative lid locking system
These hoods, recently developed by FCT electronic, are equipped with a highly innovative lid locking system, two cable outlets (100°), fixed latching elements and are particularly suitable for the loop-through of signals in data bus system applications.

Excellent EMI compatibility
Further striking characteristics of FMD1 are, along with a spacious interior, an excellent EMI compatibility, an easy to control mounting position with naps helpful for orientation and a safe cable clamping.
