PC 104-plus interface card

The Multi-IO PC104+ is available in two versions. Version 1 contains 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs. The second version has 4 additional analogue inputs and outputs. All interfaces are galvanically isolated.

Inputs and outputs

8 digital inputs and outputs making the card an ideal addon to fully exploit the computing power of the IPC for network control. The inputs are designed for 24 V signals. Outputs are externally supplied with a switching voltage of 24V. Additionally, we offer an encoder input. Of course, all inputs and outputs are galvanically isolated.

Design and software

The PCI interface of the Multi-IO PC104+ is executed after PCI standard. In addition, the design of the card is oriented to-date on RoHS. The access to the data and parameterization goes via a driver and a programming interface (API), which was developed for MS Windows XP. This allows to evaluate several data records which are maintained in a circular buffer. The digital inputs are IRQ capable, but can also be masked. Using the API, the application can determine the IRQ source.
