As a result of 50 years of continuous development and improvement, the original Eppendorf Safe-Lock Tubes will protect samples with exceptional centrifugation stability. They offer perfect sealing properties and are able to prevent evaporation reliably.

Vessels have been shown to break during centrifugation via tests at 30,000 x g. The Eppendorf Tubes, however, are guaranteed to be able to withstand the same forces (up to 30,000 x g) which means centrifugation can be completed safely without any sample losses.

Unintentional lid opening during incubation and storage is prevented by the hinged Eppendorf Safe-Lock lid. The polypropylene structure of the tubes offers high-resistance.
