Heating mantle

The CMU Electromantles are encased in metal, and are utilized to heat liquids in round bottom flasks. They are also ideal whenever there are busy laboratories with a lot of users, since they are easy to use. The case was designed to remain cool-to-the-touch whenever it is in use.

The machines also have a stainless steel grounded earth screen that covers the element and are double-fused for increased safety. If in case there is any liquids that are spilled, the heating mantles mechanically stops to protect the user from electrical shocks.

The capacity of the round bottom flask is between 50 ml to 5000 ml. The element temperatures can go up to 450°C, and there are indicator lamps for power and heater operation.
