Schunk has launched a tool change system that is designed for robot applications in which it is mandatory that a center drills in the changing unit. Furthermore, the signals, the mediums and the required energy are delivered well through the integrated air feed-throughs and many electric options.

The SWS-B is composed of a locking system which is patented and self-preventing. It ensures the togetherness of the robot and the effector whenever the power goes out. It also offers easy set-up as it is consist of adapter plates that have ISO mounting pattern.

This system can now be availed in SWS-B-027 and SWS-B-033 versions for loading up to 40kg and moment loads which are up to 200nm.
