Gravity filter / dust / self-backwashing

The gravity disc filter is generally used on the occasion of tertiary treatments, for the primary waters and sewage filtration for civil and industrial application. It is used in the event it is necessary to obtain an effluent to be reused, therefore particularly limpid and with a reduced presence of organic and suspended matters. This type of filter consists of a tank enclosing the whole system, a steel rotating shaft, a set of discs covered by a special felt on both surfaces, a gear motor for the shaft rotation, a complete back washing system comprising a mobile suction manifold and suction ends, one or several pumps for back washing and bottom sludge removal, manual and electro-pneumatic valves required for the correct operation, a control panel.
