The load cells of the model F2226 series have been designed to measure tension - and compression forces directly in the force line. They are available with measuring ranges from 10 kN up to 3300 kN. The special feature of this series is the robust design and the wide measuring range.

Application

This force transducer is used in applications with the necessity to measure directly in the force line and having a high protection class as well as a robust design. For example to measure the actual force in ropes and rods. The force transducer allows to perform reliable measurements of tension and compression forces up to 3.300kN. Because of the robust design the requirements for harsh industrial surroundings and laboratory and testing sector are met. The load cells are splash water protected and function reliably even under difficult service conditions. The force is applied to this force transducer via threaded bolts, which are located on each side of the cylindrical body. The force application has to be centrically, torsion and bending moments are to be avoided.
