The Leica iCON excavate 31 is a 2D control system that has been developed to make the excavation simpler and faster. The control system accommodates improved productivity. Using the system, multiple slopes and elevations can be constructed without requiring the system to be reset, or adjusting laser height reference. Program the controller with the pre-determined depth and start digging. The unit is equipped with a high accuracy automatic dual slope and level control. The display indicates cut and fill levels, and it is not necessary to check the grade. This machine prevents over excavation, and makes it possible to dig to the appropriate level first time, thereby reducing fuel and materials costs. The unit can be used on multiple machines, and the PowerSnap feature permits control panels to be easily interchanged. The scaleable system provides both audible and EZiDIG Sensor screen warnings to help avoid infrastructure.
