By using a true angular measurement approach NXPs magneto-resistive (MR) angular sensors work accurately and reliably with no magnetic field strength variations. MR sensors operate virtually independent of magnet shifts and drifts due to lifetime, thermal influences or mechanical stress. They enable angular measurements with high accuracy by an excellent linearity and temperature drift behavior. Our magnetoresistive angle sensors offer clear advantages over devices employing other sensing methods. MR sensors give an output signal virtually independent of magnet tolerances, magnet temperature coefficients, magnet-sensor distance and positioning tolerances.
