GE's membrane anti-scalant is a highly-efficient NSF 60 certified solution that significantly controls scale formations and fouling in membrane separation systems and keeps them clean. The RO system generates a stream of water that is salt-concentrated and accentuates scale and fouling, which is further highlighted by the spiral wound and hollow tubers in the membrane system.

GE's anti-scalant has good efficacy for various scale-forming substances like calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, barium sulfate, etc, thereby controlling the scale formation and keeping the fouling residue in suspension. It works efficiently with various membranes such as RO and nanofiltration membranes and all kinds of feedwater sources.
