The new BIMA Gx30 series opens up new dimensions in manufacturing quality: The gantry drive with servo motors on both sides of portal moves the X-axis of the machine highly dynamically and with exceptionally low vibration, even where heavy machining and high acceleration are involved. The machine bed is a concrete and steel construction, providing the stiffness required and damping the vibrations. This brings both high machining quality and long tool life.
Two Z-axes and a travelling tool changer with 8 tool positions in the X-and Y-direction guarantee maximum availability with minimum tool change times. The compact machine design with its built-in switch cabinets and power supply to the machine's consoles makes for the most ergonomic way of working.
