Laser machining has another great advantage: the tool itself, i.e. the laser, suffers no wear, which ensures reproducible results. The extremely small focus of the laser beam provides high peak intensities, thus cutting crystal clear edges with even the smallest curves in the single-digit micrometre range and providing maximum cutting performance. The operator can monitor the ablation process online, via the laser camera. The angled lens creates clearance angles of between 0° and 20°. It is 360-degree fully indexable, permitting the cutting of even the smallest corner radii.

The high-precision quick-change system allows switching within seconds either to a table with an axis of rotation for rotating workpieces, or between pallets. All optical components have a modular structure and can be replaced during operations, making for excellent maintainability of the system.
