New standards for actual requirements

Higher flexibility and increased availability are the actual requirements of the market for machine tools. Based on this situation, OPS-INGERSOLL developed the new HSC-machine HIGH SPEED EAGLE V9.

Double-gantry-drive, steel milling applications without compromise or even the compact dimensions with remarkable axis-travel. The list of highlights of the new HIGH SPEED EAGLE V9 could be continued . But mainly OPS-INGERSOLL wanted to develop a highly productive machine for uncompromising steel applications.
With the double-gantry-drive it appears to be succeeded, unique in its class. The second drive in the X-axis guarantees higher dynamics and rigidity. In addition to that, the C-axis is equipped with a direct-drive and enables revolution speeds auf > 100 rpm..

OPS-INGEROSLL also goes new ways concerning the spindle selection, especially for HSK A63, with 26.000 rpm and 25 kW. This new spindle generation in combination with ICS, results in significant low expansion and causes an enormous reduction of the time and cost intensive ?warm up times?.
This means, OPS-INGERSOLL sets new standards for precision and working times with the new HIGH SPEED EAGLE V9. Besides the HSK A63 spindle high torque, the machine can also be equipped with the spindles HSK E40 (42.000 rpm, 15 kW), the HSK E50 (36.000 rpm, 17 kW) and HSK A63 (24.000 rpm, 22 kW).
