The Maxer 400 replaces the traditional use of a ?lathe + machining center + gantry loader? for machining complex parts, thus reducing capex and saving on space. Pieces can be machined in a single set-up, minimizing geometric and shape defects. Single set-up machining also minimizes handling time and costs connected with loading and unloading operations. The two additional axes (B+Y) enable complex milling, drilling, and boring operations to be performed even outside the axis of rotation of the workpiece, with angles programmable between -15° and +90° and multiple axes interpolated.
