The Modig Universal Holding Fixture Skin is used for clamping 3D-formed sheets in the process of milling, routing, laser scribing and so on.

With its grid of actuators, it offers a high grade of flexibility to clamp the work pieces in a very rigid way.

The Modig UHF system is designed in such way that it can be readily configured to meet customer requirements in terms of the length of the actuator stroke, the pitch between the actuators, the number of actuators in the grid for example.

The picture shows a fixture where the setting of the actuators is performed by a gantry setting machine, operating from above. Solutions where the setting is performed from underneath is also available.
