Insulating control relay / monitoring / voltage / over-current

The insulation surveyor SRI3/H is a device that allows to continuously monitor the state of networks in BT (up to 230VAC, frequency 50-60 Hz) with unearthed neutral (IT systems). The apparatus has been developed for control of electrical systems with neutral earthed used in medical locations for which, according to CEI EN 61557-8 and CEI EN 64-8/7 - Part 7 Section 710, is required continuous monitoring of the state of ground insulation; systems with isolated neutral is not required the intervention of the protections for the first earth fault: the fault is signaled acoustically and optically by a control device.

The surveyor SRI3/H is able to detect insulation defects due to the resistive component even in presence of DC voltages eddy.

The surveyor can be equipped with a maximum of 5 remote signaling panels for (PSR3) that allow to bring remote alarm signaling, both in optical and acoustic form (the latter is present only on PSR3).

The minimum configuration that satisfies the rules consists of SRI3/H with one remote panel PSR3.
