Newport provides several solutions for rotation and tilt stages. These include TGN series tilt platforms and TTN80 series two-axis tilt platforms.

TGN Series is suitable for high-resolution alignment of parts in heavy or large equipment. The tilt for a single rotational axis can be accurately controlled by these stages over a range of ±2.86°. The mounting plates are highly stable and robust thanks to the stainless steel fabrication. The preloaded micrometer enables a smooth motion, free of backlash. As the size goes up, so does the adjustment sensitivity. A broad variety of parts can be mounted on the platform thanks to the clearance holes in the top plate. Also the bottom plate features clearance slots, which enable attachment to tables and breadboards.

TTN80 Tilt Platforms are compact modules that allow sensitive parallelism adjustment between the top plate or optical mount and the base plate. It eliminates the need for changing the mount height along the central axis to achieve tip and tilt. For maintaining an overall compact design, small-sized thumbwheels are used. These thumbwheels also make adjustments to mounts.
