Partial discharge locator for power transformer

In a MV/HV apparatus, the most convincing technique for evaluating the quality of insulation is the establishment of partial discharge measurement. Using Partial Discharge testing, design, manufacturing, and handling issues can be quickly spotted and with testing the designs can be improved and network reliability can be increased and overall operation costs can be dramatically reduced. This is accomplished in the installation of reliable components. The Distribution Transformer Partial Discharge Measuring Kit is the heart of the XDP Partial Discharge Expert system that is so compact in design. In distribution transformers, the partial discharge can be measured using the XDP with a HF Capacitive Coupler. Setting up the equipment and making the connections only takes a few minutes. It includes a variable transformer, and a noise suppressor for filtering the lowest voltage.
