The TruMac N is suitable for nitrogen/protein determination in various organic matrices from foods and feeds to soils and fertilizers. Within a short span of time, the TruMac N can measure characteristically heterogeneous, difficult to prepare, or low-level nitrogen samples. A large sample mass capability of up to 3 g coupled with an overall measuring range from 20 ppm to 30% ensure that the TruMac N is reliable and accurate.

Heterogeneity issues are also addressed by the instrument's sample matrices without requiring sample preparations in most cases. Its flexibility for sample type handling of liquids, solids, bulky, low density, and other materials is also enhanced. The instrument is equipped with LECO reusable ceramic boats that retain sample ash and keep furnace clean.
