COMhawk? is a communication and telematics module for a variety of diagnostic tasks. Its modular hardware and software structure allows for easy integration into different applications.

Based on a MicroC/OS-II or Linux operating systems, COMhawk? offers standard interfaces such as CAN and Ethernet as well as a Wi-Fi interface and optional digital in- and outputs.

Software support at its best
This freely programmable and real-time capable ECU system can be programmed by the user. Over a configurable data interface, for example, it is quick and simple to configure the interfaces or the structure of an application. Furthermore control loops can be mapped easily over an integrated script interpreter. Another advantage is the reusability of this type of programming, whereby future work can be even more efficient. The user profits from a complete development environment.

Wide field of applications
Developed for use as an on-board device in machines, COMhawk has a robust design capable of operating in harsh environments including exposure to dust, extreme temperatures, shock, vibration, and high pressure water or steam jets, and it meets all of the requirements outlined by the Automotive EMC Directive. COMhawk? can operate easily in vehicles and machines even under harsh conditions.
