Automatic splicing machine / paper roll

Based on a duplex shaftless rollstand with motorized chucks, tsr-t belongs to a family of beltless unwinds that allows for automatic splicing. Auto splicing reduces downtime to less than 2 seconds during reel changes and therefore increases dramatically the productivity in comparison with the conventional unwinds. It also reduces down-times caused by the breaks of defective layers thanks to the availability of auto­matic programmable splices. tsr-t is especially suitable for running 1-ply and huge 140" diameter parent rolls although the unwind has a modular design able to run smaller rolls and several plies too. The parent reels are loaded through a conveyor and a floor pick-up system.
