Planetary gear reducer / orthogonal / precision / maintenance-free

A gear reducer is a gearing assembly that can reduce rotational speed. It increases the torque in a mechanical system. These devices are common in a wide range of mechanical transmission applications. These transmission applications include an automobile and motorcycle transmissions, machine tools, variable speed drives and gear motors.

Planetary gear reducer is designed to eliminate the need for motor mounts. It is used in a typical linear actuator drive system setup. Macron Dynamics MPG are gear boxes that are direct bolt-on installation for any Macron linear actuator. It is necessary in making the actuator and drive assembly a seamless integral unit.

This gear box integrates fixed input with radial clamping ring. Its high precision gears and low backlash operation are attained through the use of high quality components.
