Camera module

The VX6953CB camera module from ST is designed for use across a variety of mobile phone handsets and accessories. The module design is optimized for both footprint and height. It provides excellent image quality at focus distances from 15 cm in ?super macro mode? and from 40 cm to infinity in ?normal mode?.

ST has pioneered different packaging technologies, including reflowable optical modules, and has also contributed to the standardization of module sizes now commonly found across the industry. Applying strict semiconductor manufacturing principles on module assembly right from the get-go, ST ensures product quality will not be affected, making absolute use of clean room facilities and automatic test machines while producing as many as 150 Mu camera modules per year.
