Portable analyzer / dielectric

The DFA500 by Doble Engineering Company is a dielectric analyzer which is designed for measuring non-intrusive, in-service acoustic signals and radio frequency interference (RFI). This is the tool which is ideal to use for partial discharge and loose components that produces an ultra high frequency (UHF) band. For this model, it is powered by a battery making it portable to all locations. It is engineered to give service surveys on detecting the fault in the ground using SF6 gas-insulated substations (GIS). Also, it is equipped with 4 acoustic channels, one UHF channel and a wireless or wired synchronization using power frequency. The unit work simple by processing the emissions happening within a specific area. Then after the testing, it will give certain information such as PD, particles, and mechanical defects.
