SDT270 helps in locating the ultrasound, by measuring and recording it. All bearings produce ultrasound owing to normal or excessive friction forces , irrespective of their conditions like rubbing, misalignment, impacting, imbalance, etc.It might be difficult to identify the ultrasound, with much noise in the plant.It can facilitate in realizing the right time and type of maintenance.
Decibels is the unit used to measure the static signals. They are verified against the initial values and preset alarms.
Time & frequency domain may be used to analyze the dynamic signals, to facilitate deep analysis of the faulty conditions.
The condition monitoring assessment is completed, with the collection of RPM, Vibration and Temperature data.
