Liquid paraffin pre-cooler

The Pre-Cooler is designed to cool the liquid paraffin from a bulk storage temperature of 100°C to 5°K above the melt point. The range of melting points of the waxes to be used is assumed to be from 50°C to 90°C.

All components within the Pre-Cooler that are in direct contact with the wax are manufactured from stainless steel. The Pre-Cooler uses cooling water at 30°C via a two plate heat exchanger arrangement to cool the wax to the pre set temperature.
