Weir SPM's Safety Hammer? has been developed to improve worksite safety. It minimizes the risks linked with using a sledgehammer for assembling hammer union connections.

Safety Hammer? has a pneumatic design that provides accurate sealing of hammer union connections with a simple push button operation. It can be used for making almost all on-site connections, thereby significantly reducing the risks of a sledgehammer.

The Safety Hammer? assembly comprises of two main components - a strong alloy steel adaptor and a pneumatic hammer. Based on requirements, it is possible to change the steel adaptor to suit various union sizes. For best results, Weir SPM recommends 29 SCFM per hammer and 90 psi air pressure with an air supply hose of ½".
