TDE Macno presents VX5000 PLC controller. It is based on a connection between an embedded PC board and a custom I/O board. A LCD screen with a custom keyboard is the operator interface. The software runs on Linux multi-user, multithread operating system with RTAI real-time kernel extension modules. It is an integrated and dependable operating system equipped with all features and software modules desired in a modern device.

The QT library for the XWindow system is used for the controller's graphic interface. It is a powerful, yet user-friendly environment which allows developing complex and dependable graphics applications in short time periods. The ISaGRAF environment is the basis of developing the control application program.

VX5000 has a front panel and color DSTN LCD display with a resolution of 640x480. The controller features a membrane-type keyboard with 70 keys and 20 signalling LEDs. It has a 32 MB IDE flash disk and 16 MB RAM. It also has 1 Ethernet port, 1 parallel port, 2 serial port 232/485/422 type and 1 CANBUS port.
