The Inline Plate Heat Exchangers, engineered by Bowman, feature peculiar internal flow arrangement that allows the inlet and outlet connections to be fundamentally in line. With this feature, the device is capable of being installed directly in pipework without any adjustments of direction. Moreover, plate spacing is larger and internal velocities are enhanced due to the fluid stream that flows thorough the series in simultaneous plates. The device also offers resistance to against fouling.

Bowman Inline Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers have been designed as a cost effective alternative to our shell and tube types. They consist of numerous 316 stainless steel heat transfer plates, two outer covers and four connections copper vacuum-brazed together to form an integral unit.
