The compact Clean-Act cylinders are designed for a clean room environment, being compatible with various applications in the industry. In terms of the features, the low friction and the additional rod seals that come with four seating points are equally important, while the vacuum port is tunneled between two multi-lobed seals.

As for the benefits, the elimination of the possibility of petroleum-based lubricants and bronze bushing particles to enter the environment in the event of a rod seal failure is an important feature. This product allows for vacuum switch lines to be used to diagnose failures of either the inner pressure seal or the outer wiper seal, acting as a vacuum that prevents any unwanted material from entering the environment. The availability in standard inch bore sizes from 3/4 to 1-5/8" and the stocked lengths from 1/8 to 4" are other important features worth mentioning.
