DEPRAG air motors has a built-in holding brake that is best use in any application area due to its optimal size and style where safety is the primary concern. The brake strongly holds a large flywheel mass to steadily hold it in position without the use of any external air-supply. This said feature is used every time there will be a pressure drop at the output spindle part.

This built-in brake equipment can be controlled either by using the airmotor exhaust or with a separate control line. The line brake is automatically turned on when the pressure drops. This integrated holding brake is now available and comes with both the DEPRAG ADVANCED LINE stainless steel motors and the 1.6 kW, 2.6 kW and 3.6 kW POWER LINE.

NEW: The worlds first ATEX conform is a complete system that has an airmotor, holding brake and planetary gear. All of these are available as a standard product in the ADVANCED LINE air-motor program for 200 W, 300 W.
