High-power rheostat / slide

High Power Slide Rheostat Bank: DSR-WB support power range from 1 kW-50 kW and with load Current up to 100A.
Options available are Voltmeter, Ammeter, Wattmeter, Ohm-Meter, Over-Current protection, thermal protection and main power control switch.

Two high-rheostat banks with the same power rating doesn't mean they have the same maximum load current capacity.

i) maximum Resistance and minimum Current
ii) minimum Resistance and maximum Current
iii) voltage at minimum and maximum resistance

Load Bank Power Calculation :
Load Bank Power = (maximum Current) x (maximum Current) x (maximum Resistance)

Smaller rated resistance values means that the rheostat may have a larger rated maximum current capacity.

Customers need to provide the best suitable resistance ranges that are used for your applications.

Resistance values do not come in a standard value that is suitable for all applications.
Resistance value has to be make according to clients specifications.
