The line Y pressure transmitters have an extremely small temperature error which is achieved by the use of additional circuits that contain a temperature sensor that divides temperature ranges in 1.5Kelvin intervals of width. For each interval, the zero TK & TK compensation are calculated & programmed in the additional circuit. These values are inserted in the path of analog signal in accordance with the temperature during the operation.

Each temperature value represents the transmitter's calibration temperature in the question. The linearity hence determines accuracy. A potential temperature range of 180K is described by the 120 intervals. The greater amount of testing is needed in the wider temperature ranges in order to reduce the mathematical model inaccuracies.
