The HLX871 is manufactured by Digitron, and is a CO2 probe that is suitable for use in both OEM and HVAC applications including portable equipment, and data loggers. The body of the unit measures 18.5 mm in diameter and has an ingress protection rating of 65. The digital interface of the module enables simplified retrieval and processing of measurement values, and as well as configuration and adaptation to the operation.

With the use of the modifiable gauging interval, the average power usage can be minimized lower than 60 ?A, thus makes the probe also suitable for battery-operated equipment. The gauging principle of the HLX871 is based on infrared technology. The auto-calibration function of the module does not need any servicing.
