It is necessary to pay proper attention to closed length when rubber bellows need to replace welded or sewn bellows. There is always need of a breathing hole because of the volume change inside the protection bellows during opening and closing phases. In case of abrasive and dusty materials in suspension, a special filter can be requested for, which can be used to keep all the air clean. When there is differential inside and outside pressure, the rubber bellows should not be used. If there is depression inside, then steel rings should be fitted inside the bellow coils for contracting the push of pressure.
