Radar level transmitter / for solids and liquids / for silos / TDR guided wave radar

The MicroTREK Guided Wave Radar level transmitter is designed for continuous level measuring of conductive or non-conductive liquids, pulps and solids. MicroTREK level gauge operates based on the well-known TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry) principle. The units provide 4-20 mA + HART output allowing to use them in multidrop loop. The transmitters can be easily configured with the EView2 software.
The probe selection includes single and twin rod or cable versions, segmented rod probe version and coaxial probes. The thin cable and rod probe versions can be standard 1.4571 (316Ti) stainless steel without coating and can be PFA or FEP coated, and a PP coated rod probe version is also available. There are many types of process connections to choose from, there are the standard 1 and 1 ½ BST/NPT threaded connection, the DN40 and DN50 (DIN11851 standard) pipe coupling (so-called MILCH) sanitary connection and also the hygienic 1 ½ Tri-Clamp. The maximal measuring range is up to 24 m (80 feet) and the relative dielectric constant (?r) of the medium should be more than 1.4. The standard types are applicable up to 90 °C (194 °F) process temperature and the high temperature types are recommended to use up to 200 °C (392 °F) and the maximal medium pressure is 40 bar (580 psi).
