Refrigerated compressed air dryer

The Type 1 TDV/H/S compressed air dryer by Parker's Domnick Hunter filtration and separation division is a high quality dryer that employs modular adsorption technique. It consists of two desiccant filled chambers that utilize the Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) drying method to dry compressed air when it passes through.

Type 1 is capable of producing a pressure dewpoint as low as -40ºC. Downstream equipments are protected by pre- and post filters of the dryer. Type 1 railway dryers are ideal for Light Rail Vehicles (LRV), monorail units by fulfilling the train's envelope concern, as they are available in vertical, horizontal or stacked configurations.
