LED protector

PLED6M Series from Little fuse offers an electronic shunt path as a solution for the failure of LED string and LED as an open circuit. The entire range of the LEDs stays illuminated even at the failure of a single string. The PLED6M Series has one watt LEDs that are nominally 350mA @ 3V and the low turn-on voltage of 7.5V enables you to switch at a quick rate after the opening of LED.
The bypass voltage of 1.2V maximum can reduce the steady state of the power dissipation followed by an LED open failure and is housed in the form of Powermite® package. Electronic shunt and bypass for open LEDs makes it easy to maintain the functioning of the LED strings. Failure of one LED will not affect the whole string of LED. The open circuit will be reset automatically if the LED heals itself or for the low profile power cycle. Small footprint of the POWERMITE® package provides heat dissipation facilities.
