HID proximity cards and readers are known as an industry standard for physical access control. The are used by security managers, integrators, dealers and OEMs.

HID prox products employ 125 kHz RFID technology. They are sturdy and economical and provide seamless integration with access control systems.

HID Indala 125 kHz Proximity Readers use FlexSecur® technology. They offer an additional level of access control system security. This is achieved as they separate all unauthorized cards before transmitting card data to the host application.

HID's ProxProgrammer is user-friendly and enables on-demand delivery of custom programmed tags and proximity cards. ProxProgrammer, when combined with storage of non-programmed cards and tags, can lead to elimination of lead times and minimum order volumes for customers. It provides on demand programming of HID proximity credentials.

It comprises of encoder hardware and software which works with Windows® 95, 98, NT, or 2000. It can program any HID proximity cards and tags. It allows printing of card ID number, including an optional customer prefix on HID direct printable proximity cards.
