Rigid coupling / for high torque

The Lineflex couplings from Inkoma are engineered to efficiently transmit torque between two shafts that are installed axially parallel to each other. The transmission of torque is not affected by factors such as the value of torque being transmitted, its speed of transmission, the degree of radial offset or whether the transmission is static or dynamic.

The transmission of torque, within the prescribed radial offset range, takes place directly with no intervening steps. The speed of transmission between the input and the output also remains constant.

The Lineflex coupling can be positioned vertically or horizontally in the assembly. The rigidity of the torque and the constant speed of transmission aid in the absorption and negation of typical radial oscillations, thus enhancing quality of performance. This is accomplished owing to the dynamically balanced design of the Lineflex coupling. Only the actual torque value is transmitted by the couplings. Reactive forces are prevented from being transmitted to the support bearings.

The units are designed to provide continuous service with zero maintenance requirements. They are outfitted with cylinder-shaped and needle-shaped roller bearings. For difficult applications that need backlash-proof performances, pre-loading option for the bearings is available.
