Polyelectrolyte preparation station

This dry material feeder from Acromet is designed for the preparation of polyelectrolyte solutions. These products are used as particle agglomerates in water suspension. The tool is typically supplied in two forms, such as powder, which needs homogenous mixing or aging. The other is the emulsion, which requires a concentrated liquid that needs dilution and aging.

The feeder models are suitable for handling difficult materials. It is supplemented by slowly rotating concentrically mounted conditioning blades that retains the material supply. A gentle movement of the product is generated with the use of secondary auger that aids in the flow from hopper to feed chamber. This toll avoids bridging and rat holing, which results in a more consistent feeding.

Units may come in either stainless steel or polypropylene, providing chemical resistance combined with a light weight and self contained package.
