Flue-gas desulfurization system

Biogas and landfill gas always contains some hydrogen sulfide (H2S). Usually, it moves in the range of 1,000 to 6.000ppm, but can also be 2% or more by volume reach. Often this H2S must be removed from the gas, either for reasons of environmental protection or due to corrosion danger. The EnvironTec desulfurization process provides a cost-efficient, highly efficient solution for it. It is a biological process that does not require chemicals and virtually no consumable materials. A limited amount of air (about 10 -15% air) added to the gas flow rate in relation to convert special bacteria (eg Thiobacillus) the H2S to elemental sulfur and sulfuric acid in order.

The bacteria need is:

Oxygen
Nutrients and trace elements (NPK886)
Growth surfaces
Oxygen is added in the form of compressed air. The automatic control regulates the amount of air corresponding to the respective needs, which correlates with the amount of gas. For nutrient and trace element supply of available in all countries of the world fertilizer used (NPK886). The design of the system corresponds to the VDI guideline 3478 and currently valid ATEX regulations.
