You are looking for a compact, powerful absorption washer? Then HANDTE WFK is the right solution for you. The absorption washer with its corrosion-resistant design absorbs harmful gases from production processes, mostly inorganic compounds like ammonia, hydrogen sulfides, hydrochloric acid, sulfur dioxide and amines. With physical absorption, the harmful gases can be physically absorbed because of their solubility of in the washing liquid. With chemical absorption, on the other hand, the harmful gas solved in the washing liquid are transformed chemically. The absorption capacity of the washing liquid and the reaction rates are higher. The washing liquids used in each case are tailored to the respective harmful substance.


The HANDTE WFK is available in different sizes for exhaust air volumes from 800 to 120,000 Bm/h and offers separation levels of up to 99.9% and more. The system design ensures low pressure loss on the gas side and large interphases between gas and liquid the precondition for intensive exchange of substances, top separation results, and best possible air purity. Furthermore, the WFK tolerates fluctuating concentrations and gas volumes.
