If you process ACSR Cable or any other similar material, the ACSR Shear M16-2 is an indispensable machine. The ACSR Shear M16-2 offers a very useful and economic way of preparing solid cables for granulation in a Granulation System. The operation of the Shear is a flying knife and a static knife. During every revolution the flying knife passes the static knife creating a scissors action. The flying knife operates at a constant speed of 400 rpm, which means that the speed of the cutting measured in meters per minute is determined by the feed rate of the cable through the hydraulic feed roller. When processing ACSR Cables in M16-2 we recommend to have an outlet conveyor belt and overband magnet for separation of steel from aluminium.
