In combination with four sorting functions (air sifting, screening, ultrasound detection and optical quality control) in the sorting we maintain, with this machine, a unique position on the market.

With a throughput of up to 1000 kg of material per hour with the large model or with a throughput of 300 kg material per hour with the smaller model, our machines ensure quality by sorting out foreign bodies and faulty products. Product examples are hazelnuts, pistachios, almonds, walnuts and chocolate-nibs.

The CORAVEL machines are for many years in use at some of the worlds largest confectionery producers and food processors.

In addition to the customary physical procedures such as air-sifting and screening, unwanted components are also identified by their surface properties. To this end ultrasound and optical procedures are employed.

Starting with raw products such as hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts, pistachios or chocolate-nibs a wide variety of foreign bodies are removed in this way. Even individual nuts affected by rot or by mould are identified and rejected.
