Integrating sound level meter / general purpose

The HD 8701 is a portable, 350-gram sound level meter which is suitable for measuring industrial and civil noise levels. It has a measuring range of 30 dB (A)... 130 dB (A) and a working temperature of -5...+50°C. The digital reading provides a constantly updated value of the RMS sound pressure level one second after the device is switched on.

Using the instrument becomes simple as the device does not require the scale to be changed due to its single range of 30 to 130 dB. A power output of 9V batteries is required by the instrument, but a zinc-carbon or an alkaline battery may also be used for 15 and 30 hours of operation respectively.
