Covering a broad variety of analysis needs from solid samples to liquid samples, the U-3900/3900H Spectrophotometer by Hitachi has line up of two types which can be selected according to the application and the measuring object and is hence ideal for an extensive variety of fields which focus on the environment, water quality, biotechnology, materials, pharmaceuticals and so on. It is also possible to measure in a broad absorbance range with low noise and with low stray light, the lower the noise of the obtained absorption spectrum, larger the amount of transmitted light and hence a more wider range of the absorbance range can be measured. Featuring a double beam optical system this stable spectrometer uses the light source from visible range for instance the WI lamp or light from ultraviolet range such as a D2 which depends on the measurement. For grating the diffraction into the control, the double beam system splits the monochromatic light while measurements of samples having high concentration can be performed over a larger concentration range as well.
