Strain gauge

DY strain gauges have two measuring grids arranged parallel to each other. Typical applications for these strain gauges (SGs) include measurements on bending beams. Double strain gauge DY1 and DY4 are available with a nominal (rated) resistance of 350 ohms in various geometries, with temperature responses adapted for steel, aluminum or to customer specification.

The measuring grid consists of constantan; the material of the measuring grid carrier is polyimide.
